Ukrainian–German Symposium on Physics and Chemistry of Nanostructures and on Nanobiotechnology

Дата проведення:
Monday, 21 Вересень, 2015 - Friday, 25 Вересень, 2015
National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU)
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU)

Scope of the Symposium Various types of nanostructures have been attracting remarkable experimental and theoretical interests over the last years. The unique chemical, mechanical, electrical, thermal, optical, and magnetic properties of nanomaterials, as well as their bioactivity, excite large expectations about their applications in nanoscale materials science, nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, photonics, and biomedical engineering. The Symposium is intended to review recent achievements of Ukrainian and German scientists in the field of basic (theoretical & experimental) and applied nanophysics, nanochemistry, materials science, and biology to discuss the advances in science and technology of nanostructured materials and push forward the corresponding studies. The Symposium will encompass the following topics in the field of nanomaterials science and nanotechnologies:

1. Synthesis and preparation methods

2. Characterization methods

3. Theoretical studies and modelling

4. Electronic and energy transport 5. Magnetic phenomena

6. Bioactivity

The official language of the Symposium is English.
